God, Family, Recreation, and Preservation of the West

God
Baptized on August 27, 1967 in Hinkle Baptist Church, Lookout Mountain Georgia. After attending evangelistic services three times per week for the first 18 years of my life, God is and will always be the foundation of my life.

Family
My wife, Becky, and I were married in 1977. We have been blessed with three children and, so far, two grandchildren. We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Conifer, Colorado, and I spend as much time as possible playing at home with my family, dogs, and horses.

Recreation
As an avid scuba diver, my goal is to dive in all the best dive locations in the world. As a horse owner and lover, I spend as much time as possible enjoying Colorado from horseback. (This includes my part time job as the senior manure management engineer at our home barn!)

I am truly an outdoor enthusiast, which includes hiking, fishing, bow hunting, pheasant hunting, snowboarding, and dirt bike riding. There seems to be an endless number of ways to enjoy our fabulous Earth.

Preservation of the West
I am dedicated to the preservation of the West. Fascinated with Western history, I am an active member of the Western Stock Show Association. The Association's largest project each year is Denver's National Western Stock Show which includes stock competition, horse competition, rodeos, and more, with competitors from all over the world. Additionally, I am very active with the Hole in the Wall Gang - an organization specifically dedicated to the preservation of the West and Western history. The Hole in the Wall Gang makes it possible to ride horses in Downtown Denver and historic locations in Wyoming on a yearly basis.
